A factual summary of the certifications held by Troo Health Care Ltd (operating as Nutribl), and what private label clients can and cannot claim on their labels.

Quality and food safety

Troo Health Care Ltd is certified to the BRCGS Global Standard for Agents and Brokers (BRC AA). This is the quality and food safety standard that governs how we operate as an agent and broker of food supplements and complementary pet feeds. It covers product approval, supplier management, product safety, traceability, and incident management.

What clients can say: "Manufactured in the UK to GMP standards", "Supplied by a BRC AA certified agent and broker (Troo Health Care Ltd)".

Certifications we do not hold

To prevent confusion and to make sure private label claims are accurate, the following are certifications Nutribl does not hold and does not arrange:

Halal

Nutribl is not Halal certified and does not arrange Halal certification. The majority of our stock formulas are vegan and therefore contain no animal-derived ingredients, but vegan is not the same as Halal-certified. Soil Association Organic

Nutribl is no longer Soil Association Organic certified. Products may not be marketed as "organic", "Soil Association certified", or carry the Soil Association logo. Clients who require certified organic products will need to source those separately and arrange their own certification.

Vegan Society

Nutribl no longer registers products with the Vegan Society. Products may not be marketed as "Vegan Society registered" or carry the Vegan Society trademark. Clients can describe vegan products as "suitable for vegans" or "plant-based" - these are factual ingredient descriptions and do not require certification.

What clients can legitimately claim on labels

Even without certification, factual ingredient descriptions are always legitimate where accurate:

  • "Suitable for vegans" - if the product is genuinely vegan (we can confirm by SKU).
  • "Plant-based" - if accurate to the formula.
  • "Contains no animal-derived ingredients" - if accurate.
  • "Manufactured in the UK to GMP standards" - true for all current stock products except gummies, which are EU-manufactured and UK-packed.

The following claims require active certification (or, for trademarks, formal registration with the certifying body) and should not appear on labels for Nutribl-supplied products:

  • "Halal" or "Halal-certified"
  • "Organic" or any reference to the Soil Association logo
  • "Vegan Society registered" or the Vegan Society trademark
  • Any logo or symbol from a certifying body without their explicit authorisation

Insurance

Troo Health Care Ltd holds the following insurance through Markel:

  • Public Liability: £5m
  • Products Liability: £5m
  • Professional Indemnity: £1m

A certificate of insurance is available on request.
