Our private label service is designed to be flexible. While most clients take advantage of our expert label design and printing services, you can absolutely order bottles without any labels applied if that better suits your business plan.
When Would You Choose Unlabelled Bottles?
There are several situations where ordering products without labels can make sense:
Product Evaluation: You might want to inspect the product, test its feel, smell or performance, or show it to partners before committing to a full custom label run.
In-house Branding: If your business has its own printing and labelling capabilities, you may prefer to apply your own labels after delivery.
Alternative Packaging: Some clients integrate supplements into gift boxes, subscription packs or bespoke packaging where they will apply labels or inserts themselves.
Third-Party Fulfilment: You may be working with an external fulfilment partner or bespoke fulfilment service and prefer to dispatch products to them unlabelled for internal processing.

Ordering unlabelled products through Nutribl is straightforward:

Opt Out of Labelling: At checkout you will see an option to include or exclude label printing. Select “No” to labelling if you want the products sent without custom labels.
Add Notes (Optional): You can also add a note in the checkout instructions to let our fulfilment team know you specifically want the order sent without labels applied.
Place Your Order: Complete your order as usual. We will fulfil and dispatch the products to you in plain packaging.

Your products will arrive with no brand identity or compliance text applied - they will simply be the raw supplements in their bottles.
You will need to manage any labelling, branding, or customer compliance information yourself if you intend to resell or distribute.
If you want to sell the products later under your own brand, it’s usually more efficient to use our professional label design and print service so that the products arrive ready-to-sell.
All of our bottles have a batch number, the Nutribl SKU and best before printed on the base of the bottle - this will help you identify unlabelled stock should you ever need to.
Legal Considerations When Ordering Unlabelled Bottles
Ordering bottles without labels is perfectly acceptable for evaluation, internal review, or design purposes. However, if you intend to sell or distribute the product to consumers, the final packaged product must be fully compliant with UK food supplement regulations before it reaches the market.
In the UK, food supplements must comply with the Food Supplements Regulations, Food Information to Consumers (FIC) rules, nutrition and health claims legislation, and general food law. An unlabelled bottle does not meet these requirements. Before sale, the product must display mandatory information such as the product name (including “Food Supplement”), ingredient list, active ingredient quantities, % NRVs where applicable, recommended daily intake, required warnings, net quantity, best before date, batch number, and the name and address of the UK Food Business Operator (FBO).
If you apply your own labels and sell under your brand, you become the responsible Food Business Operator. This means you are legally accountable for label accuracy, claims compliance, traceability, and market surveillance. While Nutribl manufactures and supplies the product, responsibility for the final labelled product sits with the brand owner placing it on the market.
