Our Alpha Lipoid Acid is a 50/50 mix of both R-ALA (natural LA) and S-ALA (synthetic LA). It is possible to get 100% R-ALA but the quality benefit does not reflect the price increase as it is approximately 10 times the price. We feel the 50/50 ratio offers high quality along with value.
